The Municipal Council of Dhahirah Governorate Holds Its First Regular Session of 2025

The Municipal Council of Dhahirah Governorate Held Its First Regular Session of the Year This Morning (Sunday), Chaired by His Excellency Najib bin Ali Al-Rawas, Governor of Dhahirah and Chairman of the Council. At the outset of the meeting, the minutes of the previous session were approved, and the responses to its prior recommendations were reviewed. The council hosted the Director General of Education in Dhahirah Governorate to learn about the Ministry's plans for the education sector in the governorate and to listen to the members’ observations and inquiries on the matter. The General Directorate of Housing and Urban Planning in Dhahirah Governorate also delivered a visual presentation on the initiative to regulate the settlement of existing individual livestock enclosures (Ezzab). Additionally, the council reviewed a proposal to regulate the movement of heavy trucks during peak hours on certain main roads in the governorate, aiming to enhance traffic safety on those routes. The session further included the review of several public service requests, with appropriate recommendations made, along with discussions on the recommendations submitted from the minutes of the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee, the Governorate Development and Enhancement Committee, and the Social Affairs Committee. .
