The Municipal Council in Al-Dhahira Governorate held this morning (Tuesday) its ninth regular session under the chairmanship of His Excellency “Najib bin Ali bin Ahmed Al Rawas”, Governor of Al-Dhahira and chairman of the Council. At the beginning of the meeting, the minutes of the eighth regular session meeting were approved, after which the members were briefed using the slideshow presentation submitted by the “numbering and addressing project” specialized team in Al-Dhahirah Governorate, as well as a review of the preliminary design of the central municipal slaughterhouse project in the province of Ibri.
On the other hand, during the meeting, they reviewed the results of the initiative aiming to determine possible investment opportunities (commercial/light industries) in locations and villages that do not have such services, and the members were briefed on proposed models of passenger waiting umbrellas to be installed in designated locations across the governorate. They also reviewed the Social Affairs Committee meeting minutes for the current month of November, as well as discussing the recommendations embedded within the minutes of previous meetings as well.
